I’m Tanner, a fourth-year Product Design student at the University of Oregon. I grew up in Arizona and Oregon, where skateboarding was my life. It changed my worldview, teaching me to constantly adapt and rethink my environment. That mindset led me to building ramps, which eventually turned into woodworking, then 3D design, graphic design, and ultimately, product design.

I’m always shifting interests. Recently, I’ve gotten into sewing and discovered surprising connections with hardgoods and furniture design. It all comes down to structure, form, and function—just applied through different materials and methods. I enjoy exploring how these fundamentals play out across different creative fields.

Skateboarding is still a big part of who I am, but these days, you’re more likely to find me in the woodshop, focused on a solo project. My interests change quickly, and I dive deep into whatever captures my attention, letting my other passions influence the process. I’m excited to keep exploring new ways to create and see where my curiosity takes me next.
